Miley Cyrus told Billy Ray going on TV would ruin their relationship

Since Billy Ray Cyrus basically spilled the beans on his daughter Miley and their show to GQ magazine, the crap has really hit the fan. She was upset at him for saying that he’s scared for her. Since, Billy Ray planned on appearing on The View for an interview on Wednesday, but after Miley complained — he canceled.

Reportedly, she had forced him to cancel, but now we’re hearing that’s not the case. According to sources, she just pleaded her case and explained her rationale for not wanting him to go on the show.

A source said, “Miley was reasoning with her dad. She kept telling him it would be a bad idea because the ladies of The View would grill him the whole time. Plus, the show’s live, so he could easily say something he didn’t mean to say, which would only upset Miley more. Basically, Miley brought her concerns up and Billy Ray accepted it.”

Are you buying this? Or do you still think she forced him to cancel?

she totally didn’t want her dad bashing her and spilling more beans. She basically black mailed him into not going. That bitch. I love it.

@JESSICA LEFEVRE, you’d have to be pretty naive to think that 18-year-old Miley could “force” her 49-year-old father to do anything. That’s a real stretch. I’m pretty sure that Miley didn’t plead anything to Billy Ray Cyrus. I’m pretty sure she’s not said a word to him in recent weeks. I’m also absolutely sure that Miley’s mom, Tish did the pleading–she’s been seen with him on more than one occasion out in public recently–over the weekend and on the day after the GQ interview come out–while Miley has not been seen in public with her dad since last June! I’d also be pretty sure that Tish let Billy know what Miley thought about his intention to appear on The View and GMA. Which brings up the question, how could any legitimate journalist come up with the nonsense about Miley “forcing” her father to cancel his TV appearances Wednesday?

You’d have to be pretty naïve to believe that an 18-year old multimillionaire, head of a marketing empire of herself and contracted to several different media companies does not have, and weild, the power to tell her dad what to do as regards her career.
