Rachel Crow Responds To The X Factor USA Elimination

In a shocking elimination, Rachel Crow was cast off from The X Factor USA last night. It came down to between Rachel and Marcus Canty. It was familiar territory for Marcus, who was in the bottom two for the third time in a row. This was a first for Rachel, who has always performed way above par.

After their respective performances, Nicole Scherzinger made the decision to allow America to decide who was going home. In the end, Rachel had the lowest votes and was eliminated.

Simon Cowell wasn’t upset with Nicole’s decision, however. He said, “I know when someone’s doing something for the right reasons and I have to be fair like that. There were no games being played tonight. Because I thought we were so safe, I thought, that’s quite a nice gesture to do, to let Marcus go. I went to see her afterwards and this is all off-camera stuff. You know when someone’s lying. She was distraught.”

Rachel took to her Twitter account to discuss the elimination. She said, “Thank u so much to all of my fans I love you so much. I am sad tonight but I will bounce back and be fine tomorrow :) Please don’t be angry with @nicolesherzy she was put in such a tough position. I love u all so much.”

As far as who she’s throwing her support behind? She tweeted, “@MrChrisRene @TheXFactorUSA I miss u already too now go win this thing!!”

In the end, she tweeted, “I am so thankful to have such amazing fans thank u for sticking by me. I love u with all my heart.”

We’ll miss you on the show Rachel!

The only one with talent goes home? I poured out a case of Pepsi and blocked Fox network on my TV. I’m now afraid the show will be aired on the History Channel since all the judges are has beens.

I am disgusted, talent going home twice in two weekst.  Simon get rid of nicole and bring back cheryl cole.  Obviously nicole would rather bitch then vote in talent. I think there is not talent left now so won’t be watching any more.

A fine example why Nicole needs to be booted as a judge from the show.  Nicole’s pathetic drama last night was completely unprofessional. Wailing and carrying on the way she did was stupid. I understand a 13 year old kid being crushed and it’s acceptable. Simon needs to go back to the board to choose judges for the next season. This show is supposed to be about the contestants and their talent, NOT about a judges unprofessional melt down, backbiting and guilt for eliminating a contestant and then feeling guilty. Stupid woman!

Nicole needs to take some resposibility & ownership for her actions & decisions on this show, if she can’t handle her own decisions she shoulndn’t be on the x factor.

Also the judges should be saving people based on talent not favourtism, even though America voted Rachel off the judges had a chance to rectify it, there’s no point in having a save me song if your going to deadlock. Marcus is good but he has been in the bottem 2, 3 times now & in a row i might add, that must tell you something.

I was very disappointed in the judging last night.  Rachel, despite her age, set aside her nerves and performed like  professional.  Marcus oversang, almost shouting, and waved his hand around a lot.  I got the impression that L.A. Reid knew Rachel had performed better, but stuck to ‘his man’.  As for Nicole, well, she didn’t have the courage to make a decision.  The judges need to be more professional.  I wasn’t surprised to see Rachel lose it.  She’s only 13 after all and has been standing up to more stress than most adults could.  Rachel has a great future ahead and I hope she isn’t spoiled by all the attention she will be getting.

I think  Simon had better take another look at how  the judging and mentoring is done.  Mentors shouldn’t judge their own competitors.  I would have expected L.A. Reid to have voted as a JUDGE, not a mentor being ‘loyal’ to his boy.  Marcus pushed too hard in his performance and looked desperate.  Rachel, only 13,  sang like a pro despite the pressure.  If they are going to have the ‘save’ factor, then perhaps other judges need to be on hand to step in for the mentors of the two singers.  I will really miss Rachel.  She is the main reason I watched the show.

Mentors shouldn’t judge their own competitors.   I meant at a ‘save’ sing off.

I was very happy that Nicole left it up to America, (I’m not sure how many americans voted) but it was more than just the 4 so majoity rules. Nichole made the right choice, so did America, anyone that has a problem with Nicole needs to take a chill pill. You’re upset because you would have picked Rachel over Marcus and would have gone against what America wanted. Only 1 person can win and it wasn’t going to be Rachel…. but I don’t think it will be Marcus either. (Although Marcus has the best stage presence out of them all) The show is setup great and I like the fact that the judges can put someone through and in a dead lock can go to america for the final vote. Best of luck to Rachel, she will be big when the time is right.

hurray nicole u did u a good job!!!!!its fair enough!!!!wat hapen to rachel is hapen also to leroy bel who sang for his life against canty,bt the result goes to deadlock who sent him home!!!!pls dont be so dramatic and stop blaming nicole!!!!

Simon, you need to re-think your judges if you think you may have more X-Factors.  Very tacky that we have to watch both Paula & Nicole blubbering and carring-on about a decision that really should have been a no brainer.  And LA can have his rap-crap.  Drew & Rachael “were” your winners!
