Brock and Mackenna are up first, singing Colder Weather by the Zac Brown Band. They are really talented, considering it’s country music and we’re not fans. The judges all said yes.
Tim Quinn sang afterward and was off the mark. Robin Royal was up next, and she’s awful. Charlesia Heard is up next and she was trying to audition for a judging position. Singing next is Skylore Anderson, singing I Must Be Doing Something Right by Billy Currington. The judges enjoyed his performance, even though the track cut off in the middle of his singing. All of the judges said yes.
Auditioning next is J. Mark Inman singing Creep by Radiohead. He’s awkward and weird in his movements. He got through to the next round, and Simon didn’t get the chance to vote. Arin Ray sang next and got through. Afterward, Josh Krajcik is up next singing At Last by Etta James. He sounds like Michael Bolton. Standing ovation from the crowd and the judges are loving his soulful performance. He got through.
The show went back to Seattle for more auditions. Auditioning there is Sherry and her daughter Darwin, singing What’s Goin’ On by Marvin Gaye. They sucked and Simon asked them if they were serious. The judges passed.
Up next is a huge Justin Bieber fan by the name of Drew Ryniewicz, singing Baby by Justin Bieber. She’s singing a country version of the song and the judges and crowd are loving it. All four judges gave her a yes.
Singing next is Pete Montzingo singing Billionaire by Bruno Mars. The judges don’t look amused at all. The judges passed on his performance.
Up next are a group called Four Sure and they’re singing End Of The Road by Boyz II Men. It was nice and the harmonies were good. The judges said yes!
Elaine Gibbs is singing next and she doesn’t sound bad at all. The judges said yes and have sent her through to the next round. Francesca Duncan is up next singing Hero by Mariah Carey. She got four yes’s from the judges.
Tiger Budbill is up next and the man can hold a note! Paula and Nicole said yes, L.A. said no and Simon said yes, so he got through. Up next is Phillip Lomax and he’s singing Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra. Loving it! What a great performance! The judges all said yes. Kudos. This was my favorite performance of the night.
Auditioning next is a group named Pink Stilletos singing Bye, Bye, Bye by N’Sync. They didn’t get through. Ivana *Something* sang a song next and it wasn’t that great. Ignored! Nicole started to bust out with I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.
Up next is Tiah Tolliver and she’s singing Impossible by Shontelle and this girl has some talent! Paula and Nicole don’t seem to like her. Nicole passed, Simon said yes, L.A. said yes and Paula said no! Wow, what?!? They’re giving her another chance to bring over Paula or Nicole to a yes answer. She tried again and Simon begged Nicole to say yes. She did and Tiah is getting a chance to work on her vocals.
Stay tuned as we recap tomorrow night’s show, which is the last of the auditions! Who is your favorite so far? Sound off in the comments!
