Yesterday, reports surfaced on the internet, suggesting that songstress Whitney Houston was suffering from emphysema.

Now, her rep is shooting down reports that she’s suffering from the lung disease, reassuring fans that Whitney is okay health-wise.

She has had a long battle with drug addiction and has recently checked herself into rehab. But, it wasn’t all a cover up to mask some even more devastating news…Thankfully!

Whitney’s publicist, Kristen Foster, has spoken out about the rumors that her lungs were failing due to her history of cigarette smoking and crack cocaine use. She has called the rumors “completely untrue.”

And there you have it! Good for her. I really hope that Whitney is able to get her life together and be happy and just sing.
