Elin Nordegren Rebuilding The Same House She Knocked Down?

Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, made us all gasp when she knocked down her $12 million mansion in Florida. Then, it was revealed that she let Habitat For Humanity come in and snatch up all of the fixtures and cabinetry to re-use. But still, it appeared to be an insane move to knock the place down! Twelve million doesn’t look like much when you’re super rich, though, does it?
Apparently the place was infested with termites and was not up to the codes for withstanding hurricanes. Thus, she wrecked the place. What’s funny is that it appears that she’s building the same house!
– 9 bedrooms
– 2 large living rooms
– huge formal dining room
– 2 kitchens
– large pool
– GROTTO!!!
– pool cabana with HUGE living room
– 2 jacuzzis
– detached guest house with 3 bedrooms
– 3 guest bungalows
– wine cellar
– ginormous master wing with crazy big walk in closet
– basement that runs the entire length of the house
Are you surprised that she started from scratch instead of rebuilding the place? While there are people in this world who can’t afford to eat and she’s knocking down her home that was worth $12 million. I guess that’s just a drop in the bucket when you got over $100 million in your divorce.
