Ferris Bueller Returning For Super Bowl Commercial? (Video)

According to reports, Matthew Broderick might be reprising his role as the iconic eighties favorite, Ferris Bueller — for a new Super Bowl commercial! Yes! This totally needs to happen. NOW.
On YouTube, there is a video that was posted yesterday, titled, Coming Soon, that features Matthew, along with the music from the movie. He opens the curtains in his bathrobe and says, “How can I handle work on a day like today?”

Along with that, Youtube user chuckachucka2012 has also favorited three videos from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. One is the trailer for the 1986 movie, the other is the museum scene and lastly, the scene where Ferris leaves his girlfriend Sloane so that he can make it home on time.
The caption for the Coming Soon video says, “We hate to be such a tease, but on a day like today, we just have to. Stick it out until the Super Bowl, or take a ‘day off’ on Monday and catch the big reveal.”
I can’t wait to see the full commercial, which, to us, is always the best part of the Super Bowl. What do you think? Are you happy to see Ferris taking another day off?
