American Idol Top 9 Theme: Lennon-McCartney Songbook & The Beatles

The top ten theme for “American Idol” was songs from the Idols past. The top ten nailed the theme for the week, but Curtis Finch, Jr. didn’t seem to make the cut. America has spoken and thus has eliminated Curtis from the competition. In case you’ve missed Thursday night’s elimination episode, we have the full recap of the results right here for your perusal.

For the top nine in the competition, the producers of the show have opted to take a page from a season past. According to reports, the top nine competitors will take on the Lennon-McCartney songbook and The Beatles.
