Kate Middleton’s Baby Bump Photo Leaves Palace Irate
In case you’ve missed it last week, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was involved in a much less racy photo scandal. Just last week, the Duchess’ baby bump was on full display in the pages (and on the cover) of “Chi” magazine. Kate was first featured on the magazine’s front cover when she was photographed pre-pregnancy, topless while on vacation with Prince William.
This latest photo “scandal” apparently has the Palace in an uproar – which is something we don’t understand, really. She’s on vacation, but this time they didn’t venture off to a private villa — they were on a public beach with other vacationers. Apparently Kate and Wills are miffed that the photos made the front page of the magazine.
They were vacationing with Kate’s family on the private island of Mustique, which cost the royals a reported $200,000 for their stay. Kate donned a bikini while spending time on the public beach area and someone there snapped a photo.
“Chi” magazine stated, “The extraordinary images of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their dream holiday in the Caribbean. The future mum, now four months pregnant, wore a tiny bikini which showed off her visible bump.”
A spokesperson for St. James Palace said in a statement, “We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas. This is a clear breach of the couple’s right to privacy.”
Do you agree with the Palace? Or are the Duke and Duchess fair game since they were on a public beach with other people who were also vacationing? It’s not like the paparazzi were paid to follow them to Mustique…the photos were taken by someone there on vacation.

Hmmm….why do I still not care about Kate and her bump? The royals need to relax! It’s the year 2013, what’s the matter? They think she’ll be kidnapped, beheaded and held for ransom? Paranoid much?
