Miley Cyrus Not Smoking Pot On Instagram (Photo)
In case you’ve seen the above photo and thought it was former Disney teen queen Miley Cyrus puffing on some ganja, think again! Even though the photo was posted to an Instagram from an account labeled “mileyxxcyrus“, it’s not her. In fact, Miley doesn’t even have an Instagram account — according to the singer herself.
Is Miley Cyrus getting acquainted with Mary Jane? The 20-year-old singer-actress found herself at the center of another social media controversy Tuesday (Feb. 20) when the Instagram account “mileyxxcyrus” revealed a black-and-white photo of a young blonde woman puffing on what appeared to be a marijuana joint or blunt. The image — in which the female smoker’s face is mostly concealed by smoke — is caption “High as fvck.”
But the “Party in the USA” songstress was quick to shoot down speculation about the controversial photo. “I don’t have an Instagram,” Cyrus tweeted late Tuesday, Feb. 19. Earlier in the evening, she wrote, “Why is everybody trippin. My timeline is blowing up. Everything’s all good in my life just in a creative space right now.”
