American Idol Cast-Off Alisha Bernhardt Is Not A Bad Person

American Idol ousted police officer Alisha Bernhardt on Wednesday night’s show, but not before making it appear that she was very hard to get along with. Alisha is now claiming that she was the victim of editing and isn’t a bad person after all. In case you’ve missed Wednesday’s episode, you can read the recap here.

While on the show for Hollywood Week, Alisha was looking for a group to perform Joy To The World or Stuck Like Glue with her. Alisha and her group all performed Stuck Like Glue and none of them made it through to the next stage of the competition.

Now, Alisha is saying that she is upset at the show’s producers for how they portrayed her on the show last week. TMZ has more details:

In case you missed it — Alisha was the girl who couldn’t find a group to perform “Joy to the World” with … and unleashed a torrent of bitchiness in frustration.

But Alisha — who was eliminated Wednesday night — tells us, producers edited the show to make her look more like a loudmouthed fight-picking ice queen than she really is.

Alisha insists … that’s just not an accurate reflection of her character — in reality, she’s a really nice person. There’s not much she can do legally speaking … but hey, it’s good to know.

Did you watch the show last week? Did you think Alisha came off as a mean person? Or is she the victim of editing? Sound off in the comments below and let us know your thoughts!
