American Idol Recap For March 28, 2013: Elimination Results

Tonight on FOX at 8PM EST is an all new episode of the hit singing competition “American Idol”. Last night, we saw the top eight performers take on songs from Motor City. In case you’ve missed the show, you can read our fully detailed recap here.

On the top eight performance episode Wednesday evening, we saw some pretty decent talent take the stage. Kree Harrison was a standout, as always, while the guys seemed to irritate Nicki Minaj. Still, Burnell Taylor, Devin Velez, Candice Glover and Amber Holcomb were great performers. Angie Miller wasn’t all that wonderful and is likely to end up in the bottom three tonight, alongside Janelle Arthur.

Stay tuned as our recap goes live in a couple of minutes. Tell us in the comments who you think will be eliminated on tonight’s results show.

Katherine McPhee and One Republic are performing tonight. Now, we’re getting a brief recap of what went down on last night’s show. Colton Dixon is on the stage to perform one of his hit songs. He’s rocking out!

One Republic and Katherine McPhee are doing a live mashup. Weird. Keith Urban is on the stage now, performing a song. We had to mute it because we don’t care for country music at the Earsucker HQ. Keith is going on tour!

The bottom three are the remaining guys: Burnell Taylor, Lazaro Arbos and Devin Velez. Getting to safety is Burnell! At risk for elimination is Devin and Lazaro is safe!

Devin is now going to perform “It’s Impossible” for the judges’ only save of the season. Will they save Devin Velez or will he be eliminated? Randy has announced that the judges will not be using their save on Devin! Are you surprised by the elimination tonight? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
