Up first on the Idol stage is Zoanette Johnson. She’s performing “What’s Love Got To Do With It” by Tina Turner. Keith said he loves the way she performs and it was an interesting song choice. He isn’t sure if it worked for that song. Nicki said, “That wasn’t it”. The song she sang last week was more indicative of where her career is going. She’s still rooting for her. Randy said she is the spirit leader here. He said, “Honestly, that was a mess, babe.” The pitch was all over the place. Mariah said she is a special person and she thinks about the struggle she’s gone through. This wasn’t her favorite performance, either.

Breanna Steer is up next, singing “Flaws And All” by Beyonce. Keith said she has the audience on their feet and he loves her song choices. She has tremendous control and a beautiful voice. Nicki said that this was the wrong song for her and “that was not it at all”. Randy said the song choice was cool, but it was safe. He liked the tenderness in the song, but he was looking for some more big moments. Mariah said it was a unique song choice for her, because it’s lyrically very raw and simplistic and real.

Taking the stage next is Aubrey Cleland and she’s singing “Big Girls Don’t Cry” by Fergie. Keith said he heard her personality through the song. The melody was restricting her, but the vibrato was good. Nicki said she loves her humility and it’s sweet and endearing. She loves her vibrato and falsetto. Randy said he thinks they all love her. Mariah said they’ve gotten to see her spirit and she has multi-platinum potential.

Janelle Arthur is up next, singing “If I Can Dream” by Elvis Presley. Keith said he loves that she has this classic country voice. It was a great song and a really good performance. Nicki said “she is back!” She loves her and it was the best vocal of the night so far. Randy said “we like you” and he liked the old throwback thing in her voice. Mariah said she came to do what she did and she did a great job.

Tenna Torres is up next, singing “Lost” by Faith Hill. Keith said she did a really good job with it. She has such control and a beautiful voice. Nicki said she liked her hair and her boobs. She said she believes the words she sings, but her personality doesn’t jump out. Randy said she made the song her own, but he likes the restraint and she didn’t oversing it. Mariah said she looks gorgeous and it was a great song choice tonight. She’s consistent when she sings and she was happy to hear the lower notes.

Angela Miller is up next performing her rendition of “Never Gone” by Colton Dixon. Keith said that was beautiful and when she plays the piano, that’s when he hears her the best. It was amazing and the guys were all standing. Nicki said, “The trumpets should sound when she walks in the room.” She loved it! Randy said, “America, a star is born on the stage right there.” He felt as if he was at her show. She was born to do what she’s doing. Mariah said she was blown away by what she does with her performances.

Amber Holcomb is up next and she’s singing Whitney Houston’s song “I Believe In You And Me”. Keith said it was a perfect song for her. She had no shortage of confidence in her performance. Her tone is exquisite. Nicki said that was a ten billion! She’s happy that Amber is showing her personality and her vocals are surpassing this competition. Randy said she is in it to win it! She took on Whitney and she worked it out! Mariah said she’s been waiting to hear her sing all night.

Kree Harrison is taking the stage next to perform her rendition of “Stronger” by Faith Hill. Keith said he does love to hear her sing. She fits right in there with the country greats. Nicki said her sexiness level just went up another notch. She’s obsessed. Randy said she’s another one who is in it to win it. He said she’s a natural and has a natural gift. Mariah said every single time they see her she is surprised by the choices she’s made vocally.

Adriana Latonio is up next singing her rendition of “Stand Up For Love” by Destiny’s Child. Keith said he was a little nervous about the song choice tonight. He’s a little worried for her song choice, but he hopes he is wrong. Nicki said she work a little bit and come back next year. The song was a bit big for her voice and she didn’t connect. Randy said it was very safe and pageant-y. She needed to come in and slay it and it didn’t happen. Mariah said she still enjoys her voice and hopes people have seen her previous performances.

Candice Glover is singing “Ordinary People” by John Legend. Keith said he loves her old soul feeling and tonight was superb. Nicki saluted her. Randy said that was ridiculous because she sang notes that only people can understand and she is one of the best singers in the competition.
