American Idol Results Elimination Recap For May 9, 2013

Tonight on FOX is an all new results elimination episode of the hit singing competition “American Idol”. Last night, it was hometown visits on the show and the competitors got emotional. Did you watch the performance episode? If not, you can get caught up here!

Left in the competition up to this point are Kree Harrison, Candice Glover and Angie Miller. It was a great show, of which each of the contestants took on three songs. Candice was clearly the winner of the night, with Angie and Kree following closely behind.

We’re sad to say, but our prediction for the evening is that Kree Harrison might be eliminated tonight. Candice was spectacular and we know that Angie has a huge following. It only remains to be seen and we would totally be happy to be wrong in this case.

Stay tuned for our live elimination recap of the show as it airs tonight at 8PM EST on FOX. Until then, tell us who you think is going to leave the show tonight! Who are you rooting for, America?

Ryan has announced that Lauren Alaina and Alicia Keys will both be performing along with the world premiere of Mariah Carey’s new video for “Beautiful”. The ladies are performing “Who Says”.

Now, we are getting a recap of last night’s performances — starting with round one. Jimmy Iovine is awarding the round to Angie. Laura Alaina is on the stage now performing her new song, “Barefoot and Buckwild”. Jimmy is awarding round two to Kree.

We just watched the world premiere for Mariah’s new video called “Beautiful” with Miguel. Alicia Keys is performing “Tears Always Win”. Jimmy said he really loved Candice’s performance last night.

The first person going to the finale is CANDICE GLOVER! Joining her in the final two is KREE HARRISON! Good for Candice and Kree! Angie Miller has been officially eliminated from the show. What do you think of the results? Are you shocked?
