RECAP:

Performances:

Candice Glover is up first, performing her rendition of “Heard It Through The Grapevine”. Smokey Robinson commented that she made him cry with her version of “I Who Have Nothing”. VIDEO HERE.

Next up is a country twist on “Like A Prayer” by Madonna from Kree Harrison and Janelle Arthur. Ugh. Nicki commented that Kree flew in to do a duet with an Idol contestant. She wasn’t trying as hard and she sounded like butter.

Lazaro Arbos is up next looking for some redemption with the Stevie Wonder track “For Once In My Life.” Can he do better than last week’s performance? Much better! VIDEO HERE.

Janelle Arthur is up next singing “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” by The Supremes. Boring and forgettable. VIDEO HERE.

Devin Velez is up next singing his version of “The Tracks Of My Tears” by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. It was decent, but behind the beat. VIDEO HERE.

Candice, Angie and Amber are singing “I’m Gonna Make You Love Me” by The Supremes. Not bad! What is Angie wearing?!?

Burnell Taylor is up next singing his version of “My Cherie Amour” by Stevie Wonder. Not shabby, but not great this week. VIDEO HERE.

Angie Miller is up next singing “Shop Around” by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. Her performance is still very pageant-like. None of the judges seemed to care for the performance. VIDEO HERE.

Amber Holcomb is singing “Lately” by Stevie Wonder next. She did a fantastic job! Good for her! VIDEO HERE.

Burnell, Devin and Lazaro are up next, taking on The Four Tops’ song “I Can’t Help Myself”. NICE! The guys are totally stepping up this week!

Saving the best for last, Kree Harrison is taking on Aretha Franklin’s song “Don’t Play That Song”. She’s a natural performer. The judges seemed to like it, but thought she could’ve chosen a better song. VIDEO HERE.
