American Idol: Who's Going Home?

It was a night of British songs along with songs from the sixties on “American Idol”. Each of the remaining top five competitors belted out two songs each along with a duet/trio. They all received heaping praise from the judges. So who will be eliminated on Thursday night’s show?

ROUND ONE – SIXTIES SONGS

Hollie Cavanagh was up first and sang Ike and Tina Turner’s song, “River Deep, Mountain High”. She was followed by Phillip Phillips, who sang “The Letter” by The Box Tops. Singing third was Skylar Laine doing her rendition of “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Taking the stage fourth was Jessica Sanchez singing Tina Turner’s song, “Proud Mary”. She was followed by Joshua Ledet singing his version of “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” by The Temptations.

ROUND TWO – BRITISH SONGS

Hollie took the stage first in the second round to sing her version of “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis. Phillip followed her with his cover of “Time Of The Season” by The Zombies. Singing third was Skylar with her cover of Dusty Springfield’s song, “You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me”.

Singing fourth was Jessica singing “You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker. Lastly, Joshua sang “To Love Somebody” by the Bee Gees.
