Rumors have been surfacing all over the internet suggesting that former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his estranged wife Maria Shriver were considering a reconciliation. These reports even suggested that the former couple were in counseling in order to patch things up.
Apparently Maria hasn’t changed her mind on the divorce since filing in July 2011. An article from the New York Post claimed that they were planning on getting back together, but an inside snitch said that they “are not reconciling and not in counseling.”
Despite all of that, the divorce is amicable and they are co-parenting their children. The spy said, “They will continue to be seen together because of their family but they are not reconciling.”
The major catalyst in their divorce was the fact that Arnold fathered a child with their former housekeeper Mildred Patricia Baena. At the time, he said, “There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”
Did you think that they were going to reconcile? We didn’t, just because Maria would be stupid to take him back after he cheated on her with the help and lied about it for so long. What do you think? Hit the comments with your thoughts.
