The Beastie Boys have just announced that their eighth studio album, “Hot Sauce Committee” is finished and due out sometime in September. No release date has been released as of yet for the album that was originally titled, “Tadlock’s Glasses”.
The much anticipated follow-up to “The Mix-Up” has been referred to as “bizarre” by bassist “MCA” Adam Yauch.
The group appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” on May 25th and played “What’cha Want” with The Roots.
Yauch added, of the new album, “It’s a combination of playing and sampling stuff as we’re playing, and also sampling pretty obscure records. There are a lot of songs on the record and there are a lot of short songs and they kind of all run into each other.”
