Beyonce has inked a huge deal with Pepsi for a whopping $50 million to be the company’s new “brand ambassador.” Way to go, Bey!
According to the latest gossip, the singer will become the new face of Pepsi and will have her face on cans of the beverage along with cardboard cutouts that will appear in stores. In addition, Beyonce will also be part of the brand’s advertising campaign that will line up with the release of her new album in 2013.
NYU professor Sam Craig revealed, “[Companies are looking] for new and novel ways to reach today’s Pepsi Generation. Letting the talent be part of the process and letting her connect with the audience achieves that and moves beyond her simply being a puppet.”
