Bill Nye Eliminated On Monday's Dancing With The Stars

Bill Nye the Science Guy has been eliminated on Monday’s edition of Dancing With The Stars. Are you shocked by his early dismissal from the show?

He was eliminated on Monday’s old Hollywood themed episode of the hit dancing competition. It wasn’t just Bill Nye and Tyne Stecklein who were in jeopardy while elimination hung in the air. In addition, singer Christina Milian and her partner Mark Ballas were also in jeopardy of being eliminated. Lastly, Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd were also at risk of being shown the door.

When all of the dust settled, it was Bill and Tyne who were on the receiving end of this week’s boot. They scored 16 points for their futuristic jazz number played out to Daft Punk’s song Get Lucky. Apparently luck wasn’t on their side at all.

After learning that they had been eliminated, Bill said, “What breaks my heart is Tyne [has to go home]. She’s fantastic.”

Tyne added that she would miss his “sense of humor for sure. Maybe the science facts a little bit, but…”

Are you surprised that Valerie Harper wasn’t in the bottom two or three? She and Tristan MacManus scored the same amount of points on Monday. What do you think? Are her fans coming out of the wood work to vote for her and Tristan to stick around longer?
