Bobby Brown has reportedly filed for guardianship over his daughter Bobby Kristina Brown’s estate.
As you know, Bobbi Kristina Brown was hospitalized on January 31st after being discovered face down in a bathtub in her home. The circumstances surrounding the events leading up to her hospitalization are fuzzy at best, but she has remained in dire straits since the end of January. Family members were said to be holding onto hopes and prayers and the doctors involved have said that perhaps it’s time for them to say their goodbyes.
Since being in a medically induced coma for a few months, her father said that she has awakened. That statement alone gave fans hope that she may actually recover, but we aren’t sure what her quality of life is going to be going forward.
Now, Brown has filed for guardianship over his daughter’s estate. Bobbi Kristina Brown is the sole heir of her mother Whitney Houston’s estate with Pat Houston as the executor – so is Bobby trying to exert legal control over her mother’s money?
Brown’s attorney has said that “there has been improvement” in Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition “and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.”
Cissy Houston has released a statement saying that there isn’t a good deal of hope with regard to improvement in her granddaughter’s health. Still, the family continues to hold onto hope that her health will take a turn for the better as she remains hospitalized.
