Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Are Married

They said that they wouldn’t tie the knot until everyone was able to, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie couldn’t possibly wait any longer and decided it was time to get married. Congratulations to the Pitts!

People reports:

The wedding was held Saturday at Château Miraval in the village of Correns, where the couple first settled in 2008 and have since performed extensive renovations. The wine-growing estate has a 35-room main house, an ancient chapel and a working vineyard spread over 1,100 acres.

According to reports, the bride wore white to marry her long-term partner and father of their six children. Her father, Jon Voight was not invited to the nuptials. After the ceremony, it didn’t appear that there were any hard feelings between the father and daughter duo, who have been estranged in the past.

He said, “I’m very happy that I can legitimately call him my son-in-law, this wonderful fellow who I love. You know what they are very happy. The kids must have had a wonderful time at the wedding, they all had their things to do and it must have been very beautiful so I’m very happy for them.”

He added, “She’s working now with Brad, and I’ve got a couple of things to do, but as soon as we can we’ll get together and it’s going to be exciting.”

Jolie honored her late mother Marcheline Bertrand by marrying her beau in France as her mother has French roots. The actress also wore a locket that contained a photo of her mother on her special day.

It may have seemed out of the blue that Pitt and Jolie decided to tie the knot on Saturday, but a source close to the situation says that the direct opposite is true. The source said, “It was deliberately chosen to commemorate milestone of the tenth anniversary of filming of ‘Mr. And Mrs. Smith’. Brad and Angie also wanted to do it before frenetic pre-production and filming began for their new film.”
