Breaking Bad Season 5 Episode 14 'Ozymandias' Synopsis 9/15/13

Tonight on AMC is an all new episode of the hit show Breaking Bad titled Ozymandias. In case you’ve missed last week’s episode, you can read our fully detailed recap here.

A lot happened on last week’s show. It all culminated with a showdown between the Aryan pals of Walt’s and Hank along with Agent Gomez. Jesse set Walt up and he enlisted the help of Jack in order to take him out. Walt called Jack with his coordinates so that they could off Jesse, but he wasn’t expecting Walt to be accompanied by Hank and Gomez.

It was an epic shoot out, with Walt and Jesse both hunkering down in order to avoid the gunfire. It is anyone’s guess as to who will be walking away from this one. But, if the title of the episode is any indication, Walt’s empire is about to come crashing down around him. From Wikipedia, we’ve learned that the title of this particular episode is a poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley. The meaning is below:

The central theme of “Ozymandias” is the inevitable decline of all leaders, and of the empires they build, however mighty in their own time.

Interesting, no? Does that mean that Walter’s empire is about to fall? What do you think is going to happen on tonight’s show? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!
