‘Breaking Dawn Part Two’ Tops Weekend Box Office With $141.3 Million

It’s no surprise that the final “Twilight” movie “Breaking Dawn Part Two” has really raked in the dough over the weekend. The vampire movie reigned supreme at the box office, bringing in a total of $141.3 million in its opening weekend!
The movie was said to have brought in a whopping additional $199.6 million overseas for the flick. The movie stars Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Kristen Stewart as Bella Cullen, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black — among a veritable list of who’s who in acting.
The latest James Bond offering, “Skyfall” grossed a nice $41.5 million in its second weekend in the theaters, which brought the movie’s total to $161.34 million. Steven Spielberg’s movie “Lincoln” earned a cool $21 million, along with “Wreck-It Ralph”, which brought in $18.3 million. Rounding out the top five in the weekend box office was “Flight”, which brought in $8,615,000.
