Britney Spears Forced To Re-Record ‘If You Seek Amy’

Britney Spears has reportedly been forced to re-record her song, “If You Seek Amy” due to the threat of radio stations worrying about “that mom in the minivan with her eight-year-old”. Good grief, will this ever end?

She is editing the track, which includes the lyrics, “All of the boys and all the girls are beggin’ to If You Seek Amy”, to “If You See Amy”. Why ya gotta cater to these fools just to get your music heard?!?!?

WTF, right?

Moms in minivans know how to change the station if the music doesn’t meet their listening standards. But of course, we need a nanny to not give us the choice, don’t we? What’s the world coming to?

I like the song just the way it is and don’t believe in censorship. The uncensored version is going to do well in the dance clubs, though.

that is such a crock of shit. music is supposed to be about self expression and creativity and this songs contains both. if britney wants to sing about F-U-C-K me…let her. trust me, there are far worse songs out there than this poppy tune. Get over it. This is America. If people are offended by a song called “If U Seek Amy”, they don’t have to listen to it; they can just turn it off.

She isn’t censored on her albbum and she wasn’t forced to release that as a single. what she did was underhanded and crude. shows what a pierce of trash she is. it says “fuck me” whether you want to admit it or not, and guess what? that’s banned from being aired on the radio/ don’t like it? tough. you can listen tot he uncensored version on the cd all you want, but I wouldn’t want my kid…8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 singing to those lyrics! and especially kids 11-13, 14 etc listen to the radio on their own time–parents can’t control that. It isn’t about changing the channel. I’d have no problem doing that in my car.

what a selfish fucktard, you are

You need to a)learn how to spell or b)learn how to proofread.

if u seek amy is a great song
and if kids can listen to eminem and 50 cent and watch videos of the pussycat dolls, then they can sure as hell listen to F-U-C-K me

hell it’s not as if kids haven’t walked in on their parents doing it

    now THAT would need censorship

    long live brit brit

this one’s going to numba 1
