Bruce Jenner will open up about his womanly transformation in a new interview with Diane Sawyer.
As you may know, Bruce is doing a docu-series in which he will reportedly discuss the details of his transformation step-by-step. He began the process of transforming into a woman last year when he went in for a laryngeal shave, thus making his Adam’s Apple less prominent. Since, he’s been painting his nails and letting his hair grow even longer.
Before he talks about all of that on his reality show, he’ll be sitting down with Sawyer in order to talk about his transition.
It’s unclear when the interview will take place or air, but it’s likely to serve as a walk-up to Jenner’s docuseries that will run on E! this year.
It’s been widely reported the docuseries won’t air until Keeping Up with the Kardashians finishes its season – and Jenner gives it a thumbs-up.
“It will air when he is ready to be open about his transition,” a source told PEOPLE. “But he’s acting more and more confident and seems very happy.”
Bruce’s family is said to be super supportive over his decision to transition into a woman. His ex-wife Kris Jenner is said to be the exception in that case because she allegedly freaked out when she learned that her ex-husband was transitioning from male to female.
The reality show is reportedly going to be either Trans-Jenner or Bruce Jenner: My Journey. The show will be airing following the upcoming season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. There has yet to be word released on which name Bruce Jenner will take when he makes his transition into a woman, but we’ve learned that the former Olympian has already begun to live as a woman in his home in Malibu, California.
