Bruce Jenner is reportedly in the middle of a transition from male to female, but is pushing the news out in the media in order to promote his upcoming reality docu-series on the matter. He was said to have sat down for an interview with Diane Sawyer in which he will discuss his womanly transformation.
When Bruce Jenner began his womanly transformation, he started with a laryngeal shave. He said at the time that he did it because he didn’t like the way his Adam’s Apple looked. At the time, he and ex-wife Kris Jenner denied reports that he was transitioning into a woman. Since their divorce filing, a slew of reports have surfaced about Bruce Jenner’s transition. Now, a transgendered television reporter by the name of Zoey Tur has questioned Bruce’s motives in his sex change.
In fact, Tur has attacked Jenner for using his life change as a means of selling a television show. She said, “A lot of people are very suspicious about what’s going on because of his connection with the Kardashians, and they feel that if Bruce is transitioning gender, come out with it, you know – speak up.”
She went on to say, “We need our role models and there’s no greater role model than the world’s greatest athlete. What’s the big deal? Many feel that gender is pitched in the reality show and using this build-up to gain more momentum and get paid to do an interview. This is a civil rights battle. This is not about selling TV shows. This is about saving lives.”
Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer was set to be revealed following the season ten finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but we’ve learned that it’s been pushed forward to this weekend.
A source said, “Bruce realized that there’s no longer any need to wait since the family knows and the public is pretty much aware of what’s going on.”
Bruce’s elderly mother Esther has basically confirmed that her son is diligent in his quest to become a woman. She revealed, “I just learned about it. Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it. I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instills enthusiasm in people. He’s gifted.”
