John Mayer, once known as a complete a-hole, is becoming nicer and more gentlemanly. He recently has been promoting his newest album on the show “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. On the show, he discussed how his most recent attempt to dazzle a woman played out. He was putting “Fifty Shades Of Grey” into a song for her. This is a super cheesy attempt to get a girl to like you.

“I was trying to impress her, and she had [the book] on her Kindle,” Mayer said. “And so I said, ‘I’m going to sing it to you.’” He continued, “So I sang her one of the pages of Fifty Shades of Grey.” After he revealed her hilarious reaction by saying, “She fell to the ground … laughing.” This guy is a pathetic loser and a disgrace to all of men around the world. This guy tries to be nice and he realizes that he just makes himself look even more retarded.

“I’ll never be that cool,” Mayer admitted to Jimmy. He could say that again. Take her on a romantic date. Don’t sing a controversial book to her.

On the May 21st episode of “The Bachelorette”, Emily Maynard dismissed Joe Gendreau after their date didn’t work out. The atmosphere on their date was completely awkward and it didn’t appear that they were into each other at all. Now, he’s opening up about the experience.

When asked about what went wrong on their date, he said, “We really didn’t hit it off with each other. We are in different places in our lives. I was a single, free-spirited individual. She was looking for someone more settled and committed to family and work.”

He also said that his five-year plans were different than hers and that caused a problem for them to be able to move on together. He said, “I agree that altered her decision. I said, ‘I want to be happy with no regrets.’ I think she was more looking for more detail like, ‘I want to be here with these many kids.’ I didn’t take offense. She’s determined in what she wants and she didn’t see that in me.”

He doesn’t regret answering in the manner that he did, either. He said, “That’s something I’d like to achieve. I answered truthfully. That’s me being myself.”

After having seen the show, he was asked if he thought it was the right call for Emily. He said, “Whether she made the right decision is on her. After she made her mind up, I was content to move on. I was really happy with everything that happened. I went in open-minded and put myself out there. We just didn’t click. She was very sweet, and I wish her the best. I’m sure she’ll find the right guy.”

Reality star Kim Kardashian is NOT involved in any type of drug scandal, despite what you may have read in the pages of Australian magazine “NW”. In the magazine’s latest issue, they report that Kim has a “heartbreaking habit” of popping pills like Valium and sleeping pills.

If anyone was dumb enough to report the fake news, then you might be gearing up for a lawsuit from Kim and her camp. TMZ reports that Kim is furious over the report that she is alarming her family with her pill intake.

Kim is getting her legal team on the case, however, and plans to send letters to media outlets who report on the fake story. As much as we hate to admit it, we’re going to have to give this one to Kim. She has done a lot of press and never has she appeared to be out of control of her faculties.

On Wednesday night’s season eleven finale of “American Idol”, Phillip Phillips walked away a winner. While many would say that the “WGWG” (white guy with guitar) has won over many adoring female fans because of his looks, he wants us all to know that he doesn’t want to be a sex symbol.

In a new interview, he revealed, “If a girl voted for me because I’m cute, and then gets mad that I have a girlfriend, then she doesn’t really like the music. I’m not some cute guy who is trying to be successful off that. I really want the music to come first.”

A few weeks ago, the show’s host Ryan Seacrest told the world that Phillip has a girlfriend named Hannah. So we wouldn’t give any validity to having a girlfriend costing him any votes. See a photo of Phillip and Hannah below:

Of Hannah, he said, “She is so excited for me. She supported me throughout all of this, and I love her to death. I’m hoping maybe she will be able to come on tour with me. It would be cool to have her there.”

Reportedly, his girlfriend is studying to become a nurse and he said that she has helped him throughout his journey on the show, even though he almost quit. He added, “She has helped me out a lot through this.”

Hollywood sources have revealed that Phillip plans on undergoing kidney surgery next week. His father revealed that his recovery time could be anywhere from two to four weeks. He will be on the Idols Live tour beginning on July 6th.

Anne Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri was convicted in 2008 of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy and thus sentenced to four years in federal prison. He was just released from prison and has been deported to Italy.

They dated from 2004 to 2008, but he was taken down by the feds after swindling people out of tons of cash. Ever since, he was in a Pennsylvania prison, but has since been turned loose — only to get kicked out of the country on the same day.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said, “ICE carried out the order of an immigration judge, and removed Follieri from the United States May 25, 2012.”

Pop singer Britney Spears has made her debut as a judge for Simon Cowell’s singing competition, “The X Factor”. If you’re wondering how she did, well, don’t expect any meltdowns just yet. After judging the competition for two days, she has turned out to be a popular judge on the show.

She made her debut on Thursday and Friday in Austin, Texas and we’ve heard reports that she is already a hit in her new job. Also of note is the fact that she’s not afraid to go against the grain and disagree with Simon, L.A. Reid or Demi Lovato. Britney told one contestant, “I feel like your song was just in the wrong key”, adding that a different song would’ve been “more interesting.”

She commented to another contestant, “Your voice is really sweet, but I feel like you need a little more training.”

Britney is reportedly making $15 million for her role as judge on the singing show. It was said that Britney walked off of the set after a contestant butchered one of her songs, but rumor has it that the reports weren’t true.

Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: Porn star Jenna Jameson has crashed into a pole. Ha. It looks like the jokes just write themselves when it comes to things that celebrities do. Jenna is no exception to the rule, either.

Earlier this morning, Jenna was driving her Range Rover in Orange County when she was allegedly drunk and crashed into a light pole. A witness called 911 and Jenna was given a field sobriety test on the scene. She failed the test and was carted off to jail where she was cited and has since been released.

The 911 caller revealed, “I was actually getting ready to call you guys because she was drunk. Next thing I know she went into the pole.”

Jenna sustained minor injuries as a result, but refused to seek medical attention.

Right where “American Idol” left a void in reality television for singing competitions, “Duets” was right there to pick up the slack. Fresh off of crowning Phillip Phillips the season eleven winner of the show, the network offered up its latest reality singing show, “Duets”. Did you watch?

The show has four mentors, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Robin Thicke and Jennifer Nettles who work closely with their proteges in order to win the competition. Each week, they sing live with their contestants and they then vote on who has the best voice.

Thursday, the show was left with the contestants in this order of how well they performed: J Rome, Johnny Gray, Alexis Foster, John Glosson, Olivia Chisholm, Bridget Carrington, Jordan Meredith and Jason Farol.

In case you hadn’t heard, Lindsay Lohan was selected to portray Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime movie “Liz And Dick”. We’ve heard reports that Lindsay was causing some trouble over the casting decisions about who would star opposite her in the movie. She wanted approval over who should be cast as Richard Burton in the flick.

Since we first heard of Lindsay’s search for Dick, there were numerous sources that said Lindsay was not happy with any of the casting director’s choices for the role. It was so bad that she even wanted to venture off to London in search of her Dick. Now, it appears her search is over. Her Dick is “True Blood” actor Grant Bowler AKA Cooter!

The movie’s producer, Larry Thompson said, “Richard Burton was quite older than Elizabeth Taylor. This is from a visual point of view just about equal to Liz and Dick. Visually speaking it is a perfect match.”

On Thursday, Lindsay and Grant met for the first time. The producer went on to reveal, “This morning we had Lindsay and Grant come into a room at Lifetime and the chemistry exploded. It was just Fourth of July firecrackers going off in the room. We knew from the chemistry that Liz and Dick live again.”

Kris Allen won season eight of “American Idol”, but that doesn’t mean that he has any love for the franchise that made him famous. Someone sounds bitter! You would think he wouldn’t be, considering that he wouldn’t have a career if it weren’t for his time on the show.

When asked if he caught the season eleven finale of the show where Phillip Phillips took the Idol crown, he said that he hadn’t. It was a boring two-hour show that only gave us five minutes worth of results, but still.

Not only did he not watch the finale, he feels that the show has run its course overall. Has “American Idol” jumped the shark? As TMZ reports, it could be because Kris is only being projected to sell 15,000 to 20,000 records in his latest album’s first week. In addition to that, there are rumors floating around that Kris is going to be dropped from his record label.

In case you hadn’t heard, Will Smith was on the red carpet promoting his new movie “Men In Black 3″ when a Ukranian reporter decided to land a kiss. Will acted with his reflexes and slapped the bejesus out of the guy. Basically, that became the slap heard around the world.

Now, Brad Pitt is discussing SlapGate, likely in promotion of his new movie “Killing Them Softly”. Will talked about the incident to David Letterman, telling the talk show host that the journalist crossed the line.

Brad said, “I stay away from the entertainment gossip. I don’t want to slap anyone. Why would that happen? I would never want to hurt anyone.”

The journalist has since apologized for the incident, but commented that he had a “splash of emotion.”

Is Brad just using the incident to help his movie at Cannes? You know, all publicity is good publicity, right?

Leesburg, Georgia native Phillip Phillips nudged out Chula Vista, California resident Jessica Sanchez for the “American Idol” win last night after 132 million votes were cast. Now, he can take care of something that’s been plaguing his health since the beginning of the competition: his kidney problems.

It was an emotional win for Phillip, who couldn’t finish singing his coronation song “Home” as he became overwhelmed. Unfortunately, his celebrations will be cut short, as he plans on going in for surgery next week. He has fought through the pain and discomfort for the entire season, but now he can breathe a sigh of relief.

After the finale, Phillip said, “I’ve been sick this whole show. It’s been tough. I’ve had a lot of great people around me, great doctors. That helps out a lot…I’m ready to feel better, feel like myself.”

Reportedly, Phillip will be spending several days in the hospital and another six weeks recovering from his surgery. Despite that, he has said that his recovery will not affect his time on the Idols Live tour. His father, Phillip Phillips, Sr. has said that Phillip’s recovery time would only be about two to four weeks. Also, it was revealed that Phillip had undergone eight surgeries during his time on the show.

Jessica Simpson became a mother to daughter Maxwell Drew on May 1st and since, she’s been busy preparing her wedding to fiance Eric Johnson. Now, they have officially announced their wedding date of December 12, 2012 or 12/12/12!

They’ve been engaged since November 2010 and were set on tying the knot in Hawaii on November 11, 2011 (11/11/11), but had to put their wedding plans on hold due to her pregnancy. An insider revealed, “Jessica and Eric are eyeing the Hawaiian island of Kauai for the reception for around 60 family and friends.”

The pal went on to say, “Jessica is busy planning two very important events – Maxwell’s baptism and her wedding to Eric.”

We’re still waiting to see the first baby photos of Maxwell. Aren’t any of the celebrity weeklies going to cough up the dough for that privilege?

The judges gave two out of the three rounds in the competition to Jessica, leaving Phillip the winner of round three with his coronation song.

Earlier in tonight’s show, Phillip performed a Creedence Clearwater Revival medley of “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” and “Bad Moon Rising” with John Fogerty. Betting companies all over the world had Phillip as the favorite to win, so it was no surprise that he was able to walk away as the show’s victor. We were rooting for Phillip to win all season since seeing him audition his rendition of Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller”. We always knew he would be a winner.

Now that it’s time for Phillip to take the next step in his career, we’re likely to hear an album from him soon after he has his surgery. Will you buy it? In case you were wondering if Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was ready to birth a guido or a guidette, you’re in luck. Snooki broke the news to “In Touch Weekly” that she’s having a bouncing baby boy! We’re sure she is just over the moon with excitement.

She told the publication that she and fiance Jionni LaValle are expecting a baby boy this September. She revealed, “Everyone said I was going to have a boy, and they were right!”

They are also trying to decide between two names for their bundle of joy and it’s down to Lorenzo or Jionni Jr. Snooki said, “I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls. It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way!”

Now that she’s showing off her bump and is gearing up for motherhood, she talked about her cravings. She said, “I love anything cold and juicy, like Italian ices.” She also revealed too much information about her and Jionni’s bedroom time. She said, “Our sex life is hardly there! I just feel too icky and gross. I’m so not in the mood to do stuff.”

Johnny Depp usually is pretty hush hush about his private and personal business. When it comes to his long-time relationship with Vanessa Paradis, he keeps it all to himself. So it really surprised us that Johnny even acknowledged the rumors that he and Vanessa had split.

After the couple hadn’t appeared on the red carpet together for quite some time, rumors were started that they had called it quits after being together for 14 years. So if you believe the hype that they were having trouble, you’ll be happy to know that they are working things out between themselves.

A source said, “For the first time in a long time, he is talking about her. They both want to make it work.”

Of course, neither of them have commented on the latest rumors that they’re working things out. We’re inclined to believe that they just got busy and couldn’t make it on the red carpet to support each other. It’s not that serious, people. They still love each other and they’re going to be together for a very long time. We hope.

It was a long road to get to the season finale for the remaining top two contenders on “American Idol”, but we’re sure Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez are both excited to see what the future holds for them. Last night, the judges awarded the first two rounds to 16-year-old Chula Vista, California native Jessica. When it came to the winning coronation song, they weren’t so one-sided. Jessica sang a song called “Change Nothing”, of which received a lukewarm reception from the judges. Twenty-one-year-old Leesburg, Georgia native Phillip wow’ed the judges and the audience alike with his coronation song, “Home”.

We conducted a poll earlier today, asking fans who will win the “Idol” crown. As of this morning, the votes were tipped in Jessica’s favor with 52 percent. As of this writing, Jessica has tipped the votes even further with 56 percent, leaving Phillip with the remaining 44 percent. The poll was purely for entertainment purposes and does not reflect any actual votes that the competitors received.

AMERICAN IDOL 2012 SEASON 11 FINALE RECAP HERE!

John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s supposed divorce drama appears front and center on the latest cover of the “National Enquirer”. Last week, the tabloid “exposed” his “twisted double life” and now the magazine is claiming that John and Kelly are headed to splitsville. There’s only one problem with that: the truth.

As we’ve reported just two days ago, despite the rumors to the contrary, Kelly and John are not divorcing. It was said that she was leaving him because of all of the lawsuits that are surmounting against him. Since, we’ve learned that’s just not the case.

An insider said recently, “Kelly has endured rumors about John’s sexuality for years. She has learned to ignore them. She’s made of sterner stuff. She and John have been through so much together. I don’t for one second believe the rumors she wants to divorce him. Kelly’s not going anywhere.”

It’s interesting how the “National Enquirer” can take party photos with John as a cross-dresser from 1997 and claim that Kelly is now divorcing him because of them. How handy. Real truth. Perhaps the tabloids should try that once in a while. Just a suggestion.

Ryan Gosling isn’t ready to take things to the next level with his girlfriend Eva Mendes. In fact, the actor wants to slow things down a bit. According to the latest Hollywood gossip, Eva wanted to move in with Ryan, but he wasn’t ready to take that step with her.

A source revealed to “Us Weekly”, “He says he wants to slow down and not live with her yet. But he doesn’t want to lose her.”

In April, the couple were said to be experiencing problems within their relationship, sparking rumors that they were on the verge of breaking up. Despite that, the duo appeared near Ryan’s home in the East Village earlier this month.

Apparently Eva confronted Ryan and wanted them to live together. They have only been dating for eight months, so perhaps he just needs more time to warm up to the idea. We’re guessing that there’s more trips to DisneyLand planned for this couple, so we’re not writing them off just yet.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the network was giving the go-ahead for a “Dancing With The Stars” all-stars season. ABC’s entertainment president Paul Lee said, “We can’t talk about the casting yet, but I’d love to see some of the fan favorites from the past seasons come back. We’ve had many favorites over the 14 seasons that we’ve got. So, fingers crossed. We’re out casting now, and I hope we come in with a really interesting cast of people who our audience is passionate about.”

Since, we’ve learned that those close to the production on the show are in the process of getting Kate Gosselin back for another season. Apparently she was so captivating the first time around that they feel the professional dancers need even more torture. When her season aired, we really felt bad for her dance partner Tony Dovolani, but to hear that she’s in the running for another season, the entire cast has our sympathies.

An insider said, “They are going to ask Kate but hope they don’t have to use her as the cast and crew hated her. She would be a last resort.”

Of course if she was asked, she would likely take it. It’s work, it’s on television and it probably pays better than being a coupon blogger. Would you want to see Kate Gosselin attempt dancing again on “Dancing With The Stars”?

If you’ve been watching season eleven of “American Idol”, then you know that it’s really been a tough race between Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips. Last night’s performance finale of the show was no different. If you’ve missed the show, you can read our fully detailed recap here.

For the first round, Jessica and Phillip performed Simon Fuller’s choice for them. For Jessica, he wanted her to sing Whitney Houston’s song, “I Have Nothing”. For Phillip, Simon chose “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King. The judges credited Jessica for her vocal prowess for the round. We begged to differ and even more so after having listened to the studio version of Phillip’s cover.

For the second round, the contestants took on their favorite performance from the season. Jessica chose to go with “The Prayer” by Celine Dion, while Phillip chose “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song)” by Billy Joel. Both performed well, but again, the judges gave the round to Jessica.

For their final performance of the evening, both competitors belted out their winning coronation song, which would be their first single should they win the competition. Jessica performed a song called “Change Nothing”, but Phillip’s performance of his new song, “Home” really drew applause from the audience along with a standing ovation from the judges.

Overall, it’s up to America’s votes as to who wins this season of the show. On the third episode of Emily Maynard’s season of “The Bachelorette”, there is a lot of drama that goes on in the episode. Luckily for you, we’ve got a sneak peek video of the madness. On Monday’s episode, we saw Emily eliminate three guys. She said goodbye to Joe Gendreau, presumably because he already has a girlfriend. She also said goodbye to Aaron and Kyle, who didn’t seem to make any impression on our Bachelorette. In case you’ve missed that episode, we’ve recapped it in detail here.

In the video, it seems that Arie and Charlie both get individual dates with Emily, much to her enjoyment. Alessandro takes things for a not-so-great turn as he tells Emily that being a father would be a compromise for her. Also of note in this particular episode is Tony crying about how he left his son at home so that he could try and win Emily’s heart.

Rapper 2 Chainz was arrested at LaGuardia airport when TSA officials found that he was reportedly carrying brass knuckles in his carry-on luggage. He had no issue when flying to New York City, but when he wanted to leave the city at LaGuardia, officials questioned the item in his luggage.

He was arrested for having the supposed weapon in his luggage, but it was only because the TSA officials at the airport mistook the item in question. He was arrested for possession of a criminal weapon Tuesday afternoon. The officer told “MTV News”, “The knuckles were in his personal bag and sounded the alarm.”

As it turns out, they weren’t actually brass knuckles, but was a four-finger ring with the word “DOPE” on it in big lettering. His tour-mate Big Sean took to his official Twitter account to talk about the bust. He tweeted, “2 chainz ain’t have no brass knuckles, it was a 4 finger ring that spelled hood. We had a shoot yesturday n he was rockin em.”
