On Thursday it was revealed that “The Bachelor” host Chris Harrison had separated from his wife of 18 years, Gwen Jones. The former couple were married in 1993 and have two children together, Joshua and Taylor. They announced their separation “after much heartfelt consideration”.
They released a statement saying, “Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children.”
When the most recent “Bachelor”, Ben Flajnik, was asked about his thoughts on Chris’ divorce, he replied on Twitter that he was “very surprised.”
As a result of his newly single status, we are wondering if Chris would actually make a great contender to be his own show’s star? Should Chris be the next “Bachelor”? He has spent quite a bit of his time playing matchmaker for many other couples, but is it his time to look for love on television?
Would you want to see Chris in a reverse position on the show as it’s star and someone else hosting for one season?
