If you are a parent and you have traveled with a child on an airplane, you are probably well aware of how their noises, even without tantrums, can peeve off other fliers. Anna Faris was flying with her 2-year-old son Jack on a flight to London to visit dad, Chris Pratt, when her child was shushed by a fellow passenger. It turns out that the passenger was none other than fellow actor Mickey Rourke.
Anna Faris tells Jimmy Kimmel that her youngster was not making loud noises, but rather grunting and playing around as two year olds will do. Out of the blue a passenger said “shush,” and when Faris looked at the passenger she realized it was the famed actor.
Faris was heading out to see her Parks and Recreation star husband while he was filming Guardians of the Galaxy in London. She admits that her son usually does very well on flights, and that he was just talking a moment to “vocalize” his feelings. “Not screaming, not crying, just being adorable, I thought,” Faris told Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday. “But I’m also sweating because you know everyone is hating me around me.”
Eventually both Mickey Rourke and Jack fell asleep and the rest of the long flight went off without a hitch.
As Faris explains, “I was already so nervous before knowing that everyone hated me, and then sort of to have sort of Mickey Rourke confirm that didn’t feel great… I got shushed by Mickey Rourke!”
The best part? A writer on her show told Faris that Mickey Rourke once shushed her baby in a restaurant! Apparent that is his modus operandi.
