Dancing With The Stars Season 13 Week 8 Live Performance Recap 11/7/11

Dancing With The Stars Season 13 Week 8 Live Performance Recap 11/7/11

It’s week eight on Dancing With The Stars and we are down to the top five contestants! As we’ve told you earlier, the five remaining contestants are going to have to perform their regular dances, in addition to an Instant Dance on tonight’s show. They will only be given twenty minutes to prepare for their Instant Dances!

Last week, David Arquette and Kym Johnson were ousted from the show, after being in the bottom two with Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus. Will they be able to bounce back from the bottom of the leaderboard? It’s anyone’s guess who will walk away with the Mirror Ball trophy after it’s all said and done. Of course, if you just want the meat and potatoes version of the show, you can check out our sister site, Tragicomical.

Stay tuned, as we will be covering the show, live, as it airs tonight on ABC!

Dancing first on tonight’s show are Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke, doing the Quickstep. It was mildly slow, but it looked like they’re having a great time. It got better as it progressed. Nice recovery. Scores: 9-9-9 = Total: 27/30

Instant Jive music: Maneater

Up next are Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing the Quickstep. It’s not bad at all, but they seemed to lose their sync with each other during the dance. Still, it’s not bad. Scores: 9-9-9 = Total: 27/30

Instant Jive music: The Best Damn Thing

Dancing next are Ricki Lake and Derek Hough doing the Waltz. As always, it was a very good performance. Ricki always does a fantastic job. Loved it! Scores: 9-9-10 = 28/30

Instant Jive music: Land Of 1000 Dances

Dancing next are Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus, doing the Tango. As always, it seemed like Tristan was doing all of the work. She needs to go, but he can stay. Scores: 8-8-8 = Total: 24/30

Instant Jive music: Upside down

Dancing the Waltz next are J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff. J.R. is suave and smooth, as always, he pulls through with an amazing dance. It’s very likely that he will be going to the Semi-Finals. Scores: 10-10-10 = Total: 30/30

Instant Jive music: Tutti Frutti
