It’s week seven on an all new episode of Dancing With The Stars!
On last week’s episode of the show, we saw professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy get into an argument with head judge Len Goodman, along with the ousting of Chaz Bono.
Also of note is the fact that Maks has broken his toe…so will that play into his ability to perform tonight?
We’re down to six contestants left on the show, so stay tuned with us as we recap the show live, as it airs. We’ll be giving you the up-to-the-minute scoop on who’s dancing what and what their scores are…tonight at 8:30 PM EST, so stay with us!

Dancing first are David Arquette and Kym Johnson, doing the Cha Cha Cha to Abracadabra. It’s slow, but it’s a crowd pleaser. Good song choice, as well. Len said David turned himself into a dancer. It needed more rhythm, but well done. Bruno said he’s a natural, turning tricks. Carrie Ann said his improvement is phenomenal. His hip action is good, but he needs a little more on his hold. Scores: 8-8-8 = Total: 24/30
J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff are doing the Tango next, to the Ghostbusters theme. This started off as an elaborate dance with coffins and everything. Cute. Great dance! Bruno said it was bewitched and conquered, but he lost his place a couple of times…but the dance is difficult. Carrie Ann said they got out of sync with each other, but it was a well done performance. Len said it was sub-standard from what he expects from J.R. and that he has set such a high standard for himself. Scores: 9-8-8 = Total: 25/30
Dancing third are Nancy Grace and Tristan MacManus, doing the Jive. Nancy still looks completely out of her element here. Again, it seems that Tristan is doing all of the work. Carrie Ann said she has her good days and some not-so-good days, but she lost her choreography a bit. Len said certain dances suit her and certain dances don’t. He said this wasn’t a good dance for her. The kicks weren’t sharp and it was flat-footed and a disappointment. Bruno said that either the devil got her or her shoes are too small. Her footing was devilish, as well. Scores: 7-7-7 = Total: 21/30
Up next are Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke doing the Tango to the theme from the Addam’s Family. Cute dance…this is much better than last week’s dance. Len said well done and he thought he did a terrific job. This is a crucial week, but well done. Bruno said he was manly and in control and had conviction tonight. He said his bum kept sticking out and he needs to keep it in control. Carrie Ann said this is his best dance so far. Scores: 9-8-8 = Total: 25/30
Dancing next are Ricki Lake and Derek Hough doing the Paso Doble. As always, it’s a great dance and they are completely in sync. Bruno called it a blizzard of passion and fear and she tensed her shoulders because of her injury. Carrie Ann said the transitions never end, but she has to be careful of her shoulders. Len said he loves the shapes and the footwork was precise…He loved it. Scores: 9-9-9 = Total: 27/30
Dancing last are Hope Solo and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, doing the Samba. It’s fast and in-sync. Carrie Ann said it brought her back to the Toy Story dance and all of her came out and this was better. Len said she coped well with a very difficult dance and well done and well done to the costume department. Bruno said she was dancing as if her life depended on it. It was better timing and a better finish. Scores: 8-8-8 = Total: 24/30
Team Tango and Team Paso are up last! Team Tango consists of J.R., Nancy and David, leaving Team Paso with Hope, Ricki and Rob. Team Tango is up first. Scores : 8-7-8 = Total: 23/30. Team Paso is next. Scores: 9-8-9 = 26/30.
