Dancing With The Stars week five recap & scores 4/18/11

On last week’s episode of Dancing With The Stars, we said goodbye to Sugar Ray Leonard! So who’s next on the chopping block??? It’s anyone’s guess! (They kept Kendra, remember that.)

Dancing first are Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff, doing the Samba. The dance was awkward, but well done. Len said he needed to work on rhythm and Bruno agreed and said, “Give me sex, man.” Carrie Ann said the performance was entertaining. Score: 22

Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke are up next, doing the Viennese Waltz. Chris did a good job with this dance and he’s likely to get that 8 from Len after all! Bruno called it graceful and elegant. Perhaps Kendra should take notes? Carrie Ann said they underestimated him. Len called it flat-footed after he commented on Cheryl’s “rocky mountains”. Score: 26

Petra Nemcova and Dmitry Chaplin are dancing the Quickstep. She did a decent job, but still showed signs of stiffness. Len said she has potential, but needs to work on some things. Bruno loved the dance, saying that the quality was very good. Score: 22

Up next are Romeo and Chelsie Hightower doing the Foxtrot. It seemed a little sloppy at first, as if he was watching her so he knew what to do next. Len said he was on the right road and had flair. Bruno loved the dance, saying that Romeo maintained the style of the dance. Score: 26

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson are dancing the Rhumba. Hines did a fantastic job in the dance and it was totally smooth. Bruno said it made the ladies swoon. Carrie Ann said he made it look so easy and that he had the best hip action. Len said its elegance was charming and that was his best dance so far. Score: 27

Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are up next doing the Foxtrot. We weren’t really paying any attention to Kirstie, primarily because Maks took his shirt off within the first five seconds of the dance. We’re sure dancing happened, but we have no official comment on it. Carrie Ann said it was her best dance ever. Len said it had attitude, but the dance wasn’t his cup of tea. Bruno loved it. Score: 23

Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel are dancing the Foxtrot. This dance is stiff and boring and it LACKED ELEGANCE! It was truly awful and Kendra looked bored and slow. Len called it fun and entertaining. Bruno said it was much more in character and she has to be in the moment. Carrie Anne said she was the most confident this week. Ugh. Score: 22

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas are dancing the Samba. That was a really cute dance and they looked like they had a blast doing it. Bruno said it had sizzle and excitement and her placement was good. Carrie Ann agreed, saying it was fantastic. Len said it was real good fun. Score: 26
