David Letterman Apologizes To Justin Bieber Over Tattoo

Justin Bieber appeared on David Letterman’s show on Thursday night, showing off his new tattoo of the word “Believe”. Dave spotted the tattoo on Justin’s left arm and tried to persuade the teen not to get anymore ink.

David grabbed the tattoo, causing Justin to wince in pain. Apparently David didn’t know that the tattoo was still relatively new when he tried to rub it off. He said, “How does that help you look?”

Dave then told Justin not to turn his body into the Sistine Chapel, which caused Justin to respond awkwardly. Justin said, “I’m not going for the Sixteenth Chapel look.” This caused Dave to poke fun at the teen singer, saying, “Canadian high school!” as the audience laughed.

Dave then asked if Justin would perform on the show, as expected. Justin replied, “If you want me to”.

Right before Justin was set to perform, Dave walked over to him and asked, “Are you alright? Is your tattoo okay? Everybody said, ‘It’s a brand new tattoo and I hurt your tattoo.’ I’m sorry. And then other people said I was snappish…”

Justin said, “You were not snapping…You were fine.”
