Demi Lovato was never up for Avengers role

Since it was rumored that rehabbing Disney starlet Demi Lovato was up for a role in the new Joss Whedon movie, The Avengers, her reps have denied the gossip.
Now, we’ve learned that she was never considered for a part in movie, which is slated for release on May 4, 2012.
Metro NY reports:
The biggest reasons that Demi Lovato is not being considered for a role is because she is still in rehab and no one knows when she is leaving not to mention she has her own show, Sonny with a Chance, to film when ever she does finally leave rehab. No movie studio would cast a person in a film when they have no idea if or when that person would be available.
