Emily Maynard Wants TV Career After 'The Bachelorette'

It appears that Emily Maynard has another goal instead of just finding love on national television. On “The Bachelorette”, she has to choose between Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Jef Holm in her final rose ceremony of her season of the show. Apparently, Emily wants to have a career in television after she completes her run on the show.

Reportedly, Emily wants to stay in front of the camera after her stint as the Bachelorette is done. A source revealed, “She’s using The Bachelorette as a stepping stone to be a reporter or host. Emily wants to be famous.”

Before she appeared on Brad Womack’s season of “The Bachelor”, she underwent plastic surgery. “Us Weekly” reports that she has since gotten breast implants, veneers and a possible nose job. They go on to say that she demanded a sizable paycheck in order to be this season’s Bachelorette.

A source said, “Emily told producers she wanted $750,000. They said no way, but she settled for something higher than $100,000, probably around $150,000. She knew she was the star, so she became a bit of a diva.”
