“The Bachelorette” star Emily Maynard had gotten engaged to fiance Jef Holm on the season finale of the popular show. As you might already know, Emily is a bit of a traditionalist and plans on taking Jef’s last name when they tie the knot. We are not surprised, as Emily is a bit old-fashioned as evidenced by her time on the show.
In a new interview, she said, “Even though I went on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, I’m pretty traditional, believe it or not, so yeah – sure.”
Jef has already commented that he doesn’t want to uproot Emily’s daughter Ricki and plans on moving closer to his upcoming family. He is said to be leaving his home in Utah for a move to Charlotte, North Carolina. Jef also said that he is excited about becoming Ricki’s stepfather. He said, “Every chance I get to see her and hang out with her, I take advantage of that. She’s seriously the sweetest girl ever.”
When Emily was asked about whether or not they would be televising their nuptials when the time comes, she said it’s pretty much up in the air. She added, “People keep asking us that, and we don’t even know what we’re going to eat for lunch tomorrow. I never thought I was going to be the Bachelorette, so I’ve learned to never say never. But it’s something we’ll have to talk about as a family.”
Would you watch the show if they featured their wedding on television? Would you be more inclined to watch if Arie Luyendyk was a guest for the nuptials?
