Frankie Muniz Suffered A Mini-Stroke

Former “Malcolm In The Middle” actor Frankie Muniz suffered a mini-stroke last Friday — and his doctors can’t seem to figure out what caused it.

He was taken to an emergency room in Arizona on Friday when his friends said that they noticed him acting really weird. According to reports, the 27-year-old actor was having trouble talking and understanding words. His friends panicked and called 911.

His doctors told him that he suffered from a mini-stroke and he is currently awaiting results from tests that were ran on him. Frankie just turned 27 today, December 5th. He is way too young to be having such problems, right?

He took to his Twitter account on Monday to tell his many followers of his condition. He tweeted, “I was in the hospital last Friday. I suffered a “Mini Stroke”, which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!”

What do you think is going on with Frankie? Do you know many people his age suffering any kind of strokes? Hit the comments and leave your thoughts below.

Strokes can strike (no pun intended) at any age. May be related to drugs, it may not.

His doctors can’t figure out what caused it? Did they not see or hear of the story of Brett Michael’s mysterious stroke? My TIAs occurred before Brett Michael’s well publicized story and my doctors were puzzled, but diligent enough to discover the presence of a PFO-Patent Foramen Ovale. Essentially a hole in my heart that didn’t close at birth that eventually allowed tiny clots to travel to my brain. Many live with this condition without incident, but the increased stress on my heart during pregnancy caused the hole to enlarge and symptoms to follow. PFO is attributed to unexplained strokes in younger adults. No drug use or alcohol abuse is needed! I hope Mr. Muniz’s doctors are diligent and investigate this possibility. I’d hate to hear a more devastating repeat of this story.
