Gerard Butler struggles with anxiety

Gerard Butler has revealed that he struggles with crippling anxiety attacks. The actor has said that he is addicted to the feeling, however, and even enjoys making it worse for himself.

He said, “I was born into a world of anxiety. I am slightly addicted to anxiety. When I’m feeling anxious, I’ll create more anxiety for myself. Like I might call all these people about what’s fun to do tonight and end up with four different options, which in itself would put me into a blind panic; but then I’ll make another four calls just to make it ten times more anxiety-ridden.”

I have something to calm that anxiety for you Gerry. Call me.

Hmm, sounds more like adrenaline rushes to me. From someone who has suffered from anxiety, panic disorder and agoraphobia for more than 10 years, we are certainly not addicted to them. Personally, I would give up 50 years of my life just to get rid of them, not make them worse.

Adrenaline rushes seem to be the more fitting description here. Plus, if he enjoys it, he's certainly not "struggling" with it, he's plain enjoying it. If they are panic attacks, then it's confirmed he's a masochist I guess, because I don't know a single person who enjoys them. Which makes me feel like I'm not the most insane person on Earth anymore. Lol.
