Gwyneth Paltow has accepted the Food Stamp Challenge Mario Batali and has shown everyone what $29 per week in grocery money can buy you – if you’re a pretentious twatwaffle. Gwyneth Paltrow is already hated by everyone in Hollywood, but apparently she wanted to extend her reach of snobbery to the peasants who are obviously underneath her station in life.
She already works whenever she feels like it so that she can maintain a great work/life balance – so she doesn’t have the faintest clue what people who are using SNAP have to go through in order to survive on so little. She has been instructed in the past to do something major in order to clean up her reputation in the media, but all she has come up with since has been telling ladies to steam clean their lady bits and this BS.
She shared the above picture on social media, showing what she could buy with a $29 allotment as part of the SNAP program. We’re going to go ahead and call BS – because seriously, where’s the cans of Beefaroni and the Ramen noodles? Where’s the beef? Her picture shows what rabbits would buy with $29 worth of food for a week.
She captioned the picture: “This is what $29 gets you at the grocery store—what families on SNAP (i.e. food stamps) have to live on for a week.”
What Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t understand is that merely taking $29 worth of vegetables into her mansion and claim to be living like the poor doesn’t mean that she gets it. The entire picture should be that she is struggling to pay $600 per month in rent while feeding three hungry children while not having money to buy new clothes for any of them in addition to working a job from nine to five. She should experience what it’s really like and get herself out of the expensive mansions, the $20,000 per season closet renovations and the jet setting lifestyle so that she can really grasp the struggle.
