Hell's Kitchen Recap For July 18, 2013: 4 Chefs Compete

Thursday night on Hell’s Kitchen, the four remaining chefs competed to see who could recreate a dish created by Chef Gordon Ramsay only relying on their senses. Read last week’s recap here.

The four remaining chefs left in the competition were Jon, Ja’nel, Mary and Cyndi. Two of the chefs were supposed to be eliminated by the end of the episode. The chefs were tasked with recreating a dish made by Chef Ramsay after only smelling it and tasting it. Cyndi won the challenge and was treated to a $1,000 shopping spree.

Afterward, the chefs were tasked with running the pass. Sous chef Andy messed with everyone’s orders in order for Chef Ramsay to see who would take control of the situation. Cyndi failed, Ja’nel did okay, Jon failed and Mary ran the pass like a boss.

In the end, Cyndi was eliminated from the competition. Afterward, Chef Ramsay chose Mary to go further in the competition, but did not reveal the second finalist. The show ended with a “to be continued…” and we’re left wondering who will be competing in the end. Who do you think will be cooking against Mary in the season finale of Hell’s Kitchen?
