Hollie Cavanagh Sings ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ On ‘American Idol’ – Video

It’s British Week on “American Idol” and Hollie Cavanagh is taking the stage to sing her first song of the night, “” by . If you thought that Hollie had the Brit advantage, think again. She said, “Everyone’s like ‘Oh, this is your week, Hollie! British week!’ And I’m like ‘It doesn’t really mean anything!’ It just means that I was born there. I mean, I have a good song. I love my song.”

The judges said that she showed that she had it in her. Jennifer commented that she was biting into the words and attacking the song. Randy said he loved it just like the other judges did. He said she wore it out and was digging in. “Very nice”, he added.
