Hulk Hogan has dropped his sex tape lawsuit against former pal Bubba The Love Sponge. Reportedly, the former friends settled with regard to the suit, but the terms of the settlement have yet to be revealed. Sources have revealed that it would appear that his lawsuits against Heather Clem and Gawker.com are still going ahead full-force.
Earlier in the month, Hulk announced that he was suing Bubba, Heather and Gawker.com for secretly taping his encounter with Heather. Later, the footage of the romp appeared on Gawker’s website for all to see. It was a short clip of the footage, but the Hulkster filed a $100 million lawsuit against all three parties. Now, we’ve learned that Hulk has mended fences with his friend.
Bubba has released an apology letter for making the claim that Hulk had anything to do with the sex tape’s release. In the letter, he said, “It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video’s release in any way.”
He said that he is “committed to helping Hulk and his attorneys find whoever is responsible for the release of the tape.”
We have yet to hear of any plans to drop or settle the still pending cases against Gawker.com or Heather Clem. Stay tuned for any updates.
