James Franco is a bit of a creep, isn’t he? When 17-year-old Lucy Clode attended James’ Broadway show “Of Mice And Men” when she took a selfie of herself in front of him. He asked her to tag him in the photo and what came next was a series of flirtations.
Here are some photos of their exchanges:
A fan responded to the actor by posting this on the social networking website and James responded:
On Friday, James appeared on “Live! With Kelly and Michael” to talk about the incident. He said, “I’m embarrassed, and I guess I’m just a model of how social media is tricky. It’s the way that people meet each other today, but what I’ve learned – I guess because I’m new to it – is you don’t know who’s on the other end. You get a feel for them, you don’t know who you’re talking to.”
He added, “I used bad judgment and I learned my lesson. Unfortunately, in my position – I mean, I have a very good life, but not only do I have to go through the embarrassing kind of rituals of meeting someone, but if I do that, then it gets published for the world. So now, it’s double embarrassing.”
Does James Franco’s response to his Instagram flirtations with 17-year-old Lucy Clode make himself endearing to you? She offered up that she was still underage and the actor persisted and offered to get a hotel room. Does anyone else find that creepy? Yes, she is nearly 18-years-old, but does that give him carte blanche to just do whatever he wants, whenever he wants?
Either way, this young girl from a small town called Dollar, Scotland has a super interesting story to share with her family members and friends. She should also be very flattered that a successful and good looking Hollywood actor has taken interest in her. Despite all of that, he should really have someone do his Instagram dirty work for him. Doesn’t he have enough money to be able to pay someone to scout out social media for him some “loving”? What do you think? Is 17-years-old okay for men to try and pounce on? What would you do if you were Lucy’s mother? Have your say in the comments section below.
