Ever since Jennifer Lopez parted ways with former boyfriend Casper Smart, she has been linked to former “DWTS” pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. J-Lo does like her dancers, no?
Maksim previously denied rumors suggesting that he and Jennifer were in a relationship and is saying that he isn’t a scumbag. When asked about the 45-year-old singer, he revealed, “Yes, she’s great, I have fun. And while other names are out there…I am not a scumbag.”
So does that mean that they are dating and he doesn’t want to be a jerk and kiss and tell? Or does it mean that their relationship is basically casual and has no set boundaries right now — and he possibly doesn’t want to mess that up?
He revealed, “I am a hopeless romantic who falls in lust and gets in trouble. I love my work and am very productive, yet I always find time to play.”
Perhaps Maksim is merely “lusting” after Jennifer and doesn’t want anything else from her with the exception of a physical relationship. Still, Jennifer said that she was left “really hurt” when she and Casper called time on their relationship of two years.
She revealed, “Each time it goes wrong, it’s hard. I get really hurt but I have to let myself go, ‘What did I do? What can I learn?’ And as hard and as hurtful as things get, I want to believe I will be able to go one step higher. I’ve got to hope that if I keep going I will eventually get it right.”
After quitting “Dancing With The Stars”, Maksim revealed that he was looking to carve out a career as an actor. He won the last season of the hit dancing competition and left the show right afterward. He said, “I was a dancing pro on the show for about a decade, and I needed the trophy to show for it. I still watch the show, because it is part of me and will be fifty years from now.”
On the most recent season of the show, Julianne Hough has been added to the judge’s table alongside Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli. Have you been watching?
