Jessica Sanchez Performs ' ' On American Idol - Video

Tonight’s theme on American Idol is Queen Week and we will see the top six competitors take on two songs. One of which, of course, is a Queen track, while the other is from a song of their choosing. Last week, we said goodbye to Colton Dixon on the show and the competition is heating up.

We are recapping the show LIVE at this link, so check out the results as they happen!

Left in the competition are Phillip Phillips, Joshua Ledet, Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Skylar Laine and Elise Testone. There are no more saves, so the contestants really has to bring it to avoid elimination.

On tonight’s show, Jessica Sanchez is performing her second song of the night, Dance With My Father by Luther Vandross.

Our commentary:

Not a bad rendition of the song. This is more of her type of song to sing. Loving her glittery eyeshadow. Not bad at all. Definitely a better song than the Queen murdering she did earlier.

Judge’s commentary:

Jennifer: That may have been the best she’s heard that song sang. The tenderness and feeling and her vocal ability — it was the most beautiful she’s ever heard it.
Steven: He doesn’t think she can sing a song bad. Her voice is so much different than anyone else’s. It’s been a joy to watch her perform.
Randy: He’s amazed at the talent this year and they are all ready to jump on the charts. Jessica is truly amazing to him. She has the feeling in there and she’s making that connection. Congratulations.

What did you think of Jessica’s performance tonight? Do you think he has what it takes to be the next American Idol? Was this your favorite performance of the evening? Hit the comments with your thoughts!

Jessica is gifted, talented singer at a tender age of 16, she is a role model for young girls because of her ethics in continuing to work her way to improve her performance every step of the way., and good attitude of being teachable. She also takes pride in letting people know that she is taking education seriously in a home school setting. Family is her priority and her dream of becoming  a singer who sings her way to touch people’s hearts. To me an American Idol should be not only brilliant performer, singer but one that can demonstrate to the young Americans that ethics, good family values and character are important qualities to enable an individual not only reach their dreams and aspirations but make a difference to the world. Jessica with her openness to share her talent and natural gifts would definitely touch hearts, inspire young and old to make a difference to the world by way of music!
She deserves to be an AMERICAN IDOL!
