Jessica Simpson And Nicole Richie's Show 'Fashion Star' Cancelled

Jessica Simpson and Nicole Richie’s fashion designing reality show Fashion Star has been cancelled after two seasons due to low ratings. Who would’ve thought that the show wouldn’t get enough viewers to go on? We loved that show.

The style competition featured the pair as mentors, alongside menswear guru John Varvatos, giving twelve aspiring designers the chance to win a multi-million dollar contract and launch their line in some of America’s largest retail stores, including Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The show premiered to strong ratings last year, but its recent second season failed to capture audiences and now bosses at NBC, the network which aired the show, have confirmed it has been axed.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson served as host and an executive producer during its 2012 debut, but was replaced as presenter by Louise Roe, who took over the job earlier this year.

Are you sad to see Fashion Star go?
