Joan Rivers Covers 'People' Magazine; Inside Her Life And Death

We lost a great talent upon the passing of Joan Rivers last week. She was a comedienne, an icon and a breath of realistic fresh air. May she rest in peace. The late, great comedienne is featured on the cover of the latest issue of “People” magazine and the tabloid pays tribute to her amazing life and her shocking death.

Her “Fashion Police” co-host Giulana Rancic said that her funeral is exactly what she would’ve wanted — complete with flashing cameras, celebrities and the paparazzi. Rancic revealed, “Joan said in her book that she would want lights, camera, action and people lined up outside and paparazzi, and she got it. There were tears, there wasn’t just laughter, there was roaring laughter, and there was such funny moments. We were hysterically laughing with tears streaming down our face. It was great, really beautiful, touching.”

Rancic went on to say, “I remember just when she was about to deliver a joke, she would start it and you could tell it was going to be really edgy. Joan would start laughing and she couldn’t deliver the punch line because she would be laughing at her own joke so hard knowing what was coming.”

She added, “After all these years, she still found the funny in everything.”
