Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, surrenders over Twitter kerfuffle

After a November event went awry, Justin Bieber’s manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun has surrendered to police over a Twitter dispute.

Justin was set to sign copies of his CD at a Long Island mall in November, 2009. He was forced to cancel the event when 5,000 fans showed up.

Justin was threatened with arrest if he didn’t tweet that the event had been canceled. Scooter reportedly fueled the fire, and instead of tweeting that the event was canceled, he tweeted that the event was still on.

Earlier Wednesday morning, Scott turned himself into police and has been charged with reckless endangerment and obstruction of a governmental administration. He faces one year in jail, if convicted.
