Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld approves of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton — and her marriage to Prince William, but don’t ask him about “her royal hotness” Pippa Middleton. He has also commented on her style, saying, “Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties.”
That’s where the “but” comes in. He went on to say, “On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don’t like the sister’s face. She should only show her back.”
He is obviously referencing Pippa’s role as her sister’s bridesmaid where she earned the title of “her royal hotness”. She was photographed going into Westminster Abbey from the back.
What do you think of Karl’s figurative jab at the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge? Nasty? Or he’s right?
