If you’ve been hiding under a rock, then you’ve missed the feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. Apparently, Taylor had a bit of a beef with Katy over tour performers. Taylor reportedly alleged that Katy was trying to steal her dancers from her tour – thus sabotaging the entire thing.
Taylor premiered her video for “Bad Blood” last month and it showed off cameos from Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and Cara Delevingne. When speaking about the other party in her feud (making sure not to name names), Taylor revealed, “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward and I don’t like it.”
Despite Taylor’s comments, Katy has since taken to her Twitter account to call her a ‘mean girl.’ She tweeted, “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”
Now, it appears that Katy might be taking action – musical action, that is. According to reports, she is gearing up to release a song called “1989”. Of course, that is also the name of Taylor Swift’s latest album. Is it a dig at Taylor?
Recently, Katy Perry said, “If somebody is trying to defame my character, you’re going to hear about it.”
